PRIVACY

Clear, minimal data.

What the Arrow Escape leaderboard receives and why.

What is public

Your chosen player name, level or overall completion time, remaining or total lives, upload time and two-letter country/region code can appear on the public leaderboard.

Overall score details

An overall upload includes the saved time and remaining-lives result for each of the 20 levels. The server validates all 20 splits and recomputes the displayed totals. Individual splits and the app-specific installation identifier are not published.

Identifiers

The watch sends an app-specific device identifier over HTTPS. The Worker combines it with a private server-side pepper and stores only its SHA-256 hash. The original identifier is not stored.

Network data

The source IP address is used transiently for abuse controls. The database receives only a peppered SHA-256 source hash that rotates each UTC day. Raw IP addresses are not written to the leaderboard database or persisted by this Worker's log configuration. The country/region code is derived by Cloudflare.

Purpose

This data is used only to rank best results, enforce rate limits, deduplicate retries and review suspicious submissions. Scores are client-submitted and cannot cryptographically prove gameplay. This site uses a small first-party navigation script for leaderboard changes, with no analytics or advertising cookies.
